The Role

We are currently looking for a Winery Operations Assistant to join our team, supporting both the 15 Valley and Fairhall winery sites.
This is a hybrid role, combining kitchen duties with broader site operations support. You’ll play an important part in keeping our workplaces running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation and ensuring dietary requirements are met
• Maintaining high food safety standards, including temperature checks and hygiene procedures
• Carrying out cleaning tasks to ensure a safe, tidy, and well-organised environment
• Managing site support tasks, such as recycling rounds, stocking supplies, and general operational support
• Helping ensure both sites remain compliant, organised, and operationally ready

About you

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• A reliable, flexible, and hands-on approach
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate is a plus but not essential.
