The Role

As we gear up for Vintage 2025, we're looking for new team members at our 15 Valley Winery in Marlborough to get all the grapes in and processed into wine so we can get it out the door to NZ and international shelves. We have a range of exciting opportunities to apply for! 

For the team at the heart of this annual experience, there's much more to be made in addition to wine. You'll make great friends (it'll feel like family by the end), good money, learn new skills and make incredible memories. That's just a taste of what you can look forward to as part of our vintage crew. 

You will be based in our Dry Goods area, day to day this will look like - 

• Stock control  
• Managing incoming goods  
• Dispensing products across all operations 
• Ensuring all products are weighted and moved off the system accordingly 
• Communicating with supervisors and escalating issues as required  
• Inputting details into our system 
• Assisting with all activities across the winery as and when required 

15 Valley nestles into the foothills of the Wither Hills and is one of New Zealand's largest wineries. Experienced winemakers, cutting edge technology such as smart tanks, bespoke systems and our amazing cellar teams help us to produce and export our globally renown sauvignon blanc.  

This is a fixed term, seasonal role. Typically, our vintages run from late-February to mid-April. Because of the nature of our business, our vintage dates might change slightly, but we will always keep you up-to-date with the latest information as we get it

About you

1. perhaps you have no winery experience but have always wanted to do a vintage, well we have a role for you! 
2. maybe you have done a few vintages, and want to learn even more 
3. or maybe you consider yourself a bit of a vintage veteran and are capable of working in a more challenging role? 

To be successful for this role, you'll need: 

• To be physically fit 
• Good communication skills 
• Attention to detail 
• Flexible and keen to jump in and help where required 
• Be available to work shifts of up to 12 hours, 6 days per week, at vintage peak  
• Be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical examination and drug and alcohol test
