The Role

Oversee all direct and indirect tax matters across Indevin while leading a dedicated payroll team of two -

  • Collaborate with external partners to deliver successful tax returns and audits
  • Manage transfer pricing to meet regulatory standards
  • Manage all indirect taxes including GST, FBT and PAYE
  • Work with external advisors to prepare overseas tax returns (both direct and indirect) within various jurisdictions including Australia, UK and Canada
  • Ensure full compliance with industry levies and duty returns
  • Prepare insightful quarterly tax updates for the board
  • Oversee payroll operations for both Indevin and Villa Maria, managing distinct entities and processes
  • Inspire and guide your team to drive continuous improvement
  • Guarantee accurate, compliant and timely payroll processing

You will also gain exposure to our Payroll project and the opportunity to advise across other entities within the Group.

We have head offices in Auckland and Blenheim, this role can be based at either location.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring –

  • A tax background with experience in direct and indirect tax (GST, FBT, income tax, excise, levies)
  • Corporate tax experience within Group / FMCG is desired but not essential
  • Excitement to move beyond tax and step into payroll and wider corporate services and leadership responsibilities
  • Motivation to embrace ongoing career opportunities

  • CA qualified
