About Us
Home to the iconic brand Villa Maria, our vision is to be one of the world’s great wine companies, sharing the best of New Zealand wine with the world. Our grapes come from over 6,000 hectares of planted vineyards and blended in our wineries across three of the renowned wine regions - Marlborough, Hawke’s Bay, and Gisborne. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for our QSE frameworks, ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and strong safety and quality culture across vintage and non-vintage operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and maintaining Quality, Food Safety, Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems
- Ensuring compliance with NZ legislation (HSWA), customer requirements, and relevant standards (e.g. GFSI, ISO, HACCP, GMP)

- Managing incident and event investigations, corrective actions, and assurance reporting
- Partnering with leaders and frontline teams to embed safe, compliant and efficient ways of working
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across winery operations
- Providing clear, practical QSE advice to leaders and teams
