The Role

We’re looking for Permanent Cellar Hands to join our winery team at 15V in Marlborough.

In this role you will:

 Execute assigned cellar operations to meet production requirements, including but not limited to:

• Wine transfers, additions, filtration, stabilization, gas adjustment, receival and dispatch
• Tank and equipment cleaning and sanitation
• Operating winery equipment such as pumps, crushers, presses, and temperature control systems (training provided where required)
• Complete job sign-ons when approved and required
• Support and, where applicable, lead or supervise Vintage teams as directed by the Operations Supervisor
• Be able to work day and afternoon shifts (and night shifts during Vintage)
• Ensure all cellar operations are carried out in professional and timely manner
• Cellar and winemaking requests are actioned promptly and professionally

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is hard-working, motivated and have a can-do attitude
• Is safety-conscious and follows procedures carefully
• Is a sound problem solver with the ability to do so under pressure
• Is physically fit, reliable and a team player
• Can communicate clearly in English and follow written and verbal instructions
• Has a proactive, continuous-improvement mindset
• Is legally entitled to work in New Zealand (NZ citizen or holder of a valid work visa)
• Has previous experience in this role (preferred)
