The Role
As the H&S Business Partner, you will build strong relationships with our site operational leads and workers and work across our wineries and vineyards. This role offers the opportunity to further develop your health and safety experience with variety and scope as aim to raise the bar across our sites and the wider industry -
- Collaborate with our leaders, managers and supervisors to coach, train and support them in to implement our Group HS processes, managing critical risks and using our digital tools
- Partner with each site to develop and implement site improvement plans based on our overarching health and safety plan and objectives
- Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, anticipate health and safety issues, and make recommendations manage our risks effectively
- Translate technical safety information into health and safety processes, guides, and training sessions for our workers
- Collaborate with the HS and wider operational team to contribute to and lead health and safety projects and initiatives
- Lead learning reviews post incident to understand causative factors and help build operational resilience
This is a full time, fixed term role for 12 months. You will be based in either Hawkes’ Bay or Gisborne with regular travel to the other location.
About You
- A truly boots on the ground, collaborative approach to partnering with our teams
- Sound knowledge of NZ health safety legislation and current industry good practice
- A relevant health and safety diploma or degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in agriculture, horticulture, and/or manufacturing environment
- The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to change and ambiguity
