Key Responsibilities

This role is perfect for someone looking to develop their skills through on-the-job training. No two days are the same as you ensure continued maintenance and repair of our plant, equipment and services.

You will:

• Complete engineering, maintenance and repairs across the two Marlborough wineries, ensuring the availability and reliability of the plant and equipment.
• Participate in continual improvement initiatives and training.
• Undertake maintenance working at height and in confined spaces.
• Assist with compliance, commissioning, and documentation.
• Align with the Indevin values.

What you need to be successful

Experience in a fast-paced winery is an advantage, but attitude, motivation and a drive to learn and improve are essential. You will be practical and proactive in your approach to work, physically fit and reliable with a can do – will do attitude. You’ll be an excellent team player – someone who will engage with our team, work hard and deliver results, demonstrate leadership skills and have a strong focus on service.

You’ll have:

• A trade qualification or three or more years engineering experience.
• A continuous improvement and value adding attitude.
• Be physically capable, including lifting, twisting and working in awkward spaces.
• Sense of humor.
• Ability to work alone and alongside others.
