The Role

We’re looking for a Data and Analytics Manager – Operations to lead our operational reporting, analytics, and insights capability within the Technology team. This role is all about turning operational data into clear, trusted and decision-ready information that supports better planning, performance management and business improvement across the business. 

Based in Marlborough, you’ll bring strong technical capability and practical business understanding to a role with real breadth, influence and impact. You’ll help shape how data is used across Indevin, build a trusted single source of truth, simplify reporting, and turn complex information into clear insights that support better decisions across the business. 

You’ll be responsible for: 

  • Leading and coordinating operational data, reporting, analytics and insights activity within the Technology team. 
  • Managing and developing the data and analytics function. 
  • Overseeing the design, development and ongoing improvement of dashboards, reports and reporting datasets. 
  • Creating trusted reporting and consistent KPI definitions across Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and HR. 
  • Translating complex data into clear, practical insights that improve planning, productivity, cost control and performance. 
  • Providing strong SQL, data modelling and analytics leadership to improve the quality and maintainability of reporting. 
  • Identifying practical opportunities to use AI, automation and advanced analytics to support better decision-making. 
  • Building strong relationships across Technology, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and HR to ensure data products are practical, trusted and adopted. 

About you

 

  • Strong SQL capability, with experience in reporting logic, data transformation, performance awareness and analytical datasets. 
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, metrics and insights using modern BI, reporting or analytics tools. 
  • A good understanding of data modelling, data quality, data integration, reporting architecture and documentation. 
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to translate complex data into clear, practical insights and recommendations. 
  • Practical experience applying AI, automation or advanced analytics to improve reporting, productivity or decision-making. 
  • Experience working with operational data. 
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to connect operational insights to business performance, planning and continuous improvement. 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and build confidence in data-led decision-making. 
  • A pragmatic, curious and delivery-focused approach, with high standards for data accuracy, integrity and reliability.
