The Role

 

We’re looking for an experienced NZ Country Manager to lead and grow our national wine sales business. This senior, hands on leadership role takes ownership of New Zealand sales performance, setting direction and leading a strong national team to drive profitable growth across all channels. You’ll balance commercial delivery with a long term focus, navigating market conditions while keeping teams aligned, motivated and moving forward together.  
What you'll be doing

  • Lead and execute the national sales strategy to drive growth across all channels and regions
  • Deliver annual sales targets across volume, profit, and SKU performance
  • Develop and adjust commercial plans based on market conditions, forecasts, and vintage variability
  • Oversee pricing, promotions, and portfolio mix to maximise profitability and market success
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships, especially with marketing, to deliver impactful campaigns
  • Provide strategic insights, forecasting, and performance reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing national sales team and foster a positive team culture
  • Manage budgets, contracts, and operational processes to ensure efficient and compliant business operations

  • Prepared to roll up your sleeves as and when it’s needed.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the country
