Key Responsibilities

We have four fixed term Cellar Hand positions available from July to November 2025 at our 15Valley Winery. In these roles you will be responsible for supporting our team with the day-to-day cellar operations.   

 

Please note: to be eligible for these roles you need to have a valid work visa for the duration of the contract period.   

 

In this role you will:   

  • Maintain a safe working attitude, and environment.   
  • Execute assigned cellar operations to meet production requirements.   
  • Ensure all cellar operations are carried out in professional and timely manner.   
  • Cellar and winemaking requests are actioned promptly and professionally.   
  • Notify supervisors of equipment failure/breakdown.   
  • Maintain cellar policy and procedure to best practice standards and suggest improvements.   
  • Complete additional duties as required by the business. 

What you need to be successful

Having worked in a winery before is a plus. 

 
  • The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a winery, although this is not a strict requirement. 
  • To succeed in this role, you will –

  • Be willing and eager to learn not only how to do job tasks but why we do them  
  • To be considered for this role, you must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
